About Us

Two Girls......One Mission
To care for the orphan!!

About Sarah
My name is Sarah, I am fourteen years old, and I love to sew and crochet. I have been crocheting for 3 years and I have been sewing for 7 years. I am also a beginning knitter. I have started my own crocheting/sewing business called For His Glory Handiwork, but I mostly sell on this blog helping orphans come home. I love crocheting items (baby hats, slippers, blankets) for charity. I also am in 4-H, and I make lots of things to show at fair. I love missions, and in July 2010 I went on a mission trip to Ukraine, and am dying to go back! My other blogs are For His Glory Handiwork (linked above), and What it Means to Love, where I advocate for orphans. I also kept a blog during my mission trip. In Dec 2010 my family finished the process of adopting my little brother Elijah from Ukraine, and we finished the process of my other little brother Jonathan in July 2011. Someday I want to be a mommy to many and a missionary wife. I have a heart for helping orphans and hope to adopt one day, but until then, I am doing the best I can at helping them by using the talents God has given me.

About Rachel
My name is Rachel and I am sixteen years old. I have a passion for orphans and crocheting. In Oct/Nov 2011 I was able to go along and help the Gibson family bring home their little Carter from Ukraine. I loved Ukraine and can't wait to go back! Sarah taught me to crochet, and I have been doing it for almost 2 years and I love it! I crochet only for God's glory. I am trying to help orphans with everything I do, and I hope to adopt one day! I also have an orphan advocating blog: Freeing God's Beautiful Butterflies Sarah steals my crocheting (with permission, sorta), and insists about listing them on this blog. :)
